This section provides you with information about Home Contents Insurance. South Essex Homes does not insure your furniture, belongings or decorations against theft, fire, vandalism and burst pipes. South Essex Homes insure the structure of your home but not the contents. Every household is responsible for insuring their own possessions.
Residents need to make their own arrangements to take out household insurance either under a special scheme arranged by AON, through Aviva or by making alternative arrangements. There are many insurance companies offering this type of insurance, costs will vary, so it pays to shop around for a good deal.
