Minal Joshi, Equality and Diversity Project Manager said
“South Essex Homes have recently completed 85% information on our residents profile and have found that 29.7% of residents have a disability.
Through various consultations with residents we have found there are frequently asked questions about services that are available to residents, benefit entitlements, adaptations to properties etc and we felt the need for this information workshop.”
There will also be a presentation by Phil Lyons Chair of the South Essex Homes Board.
The event will be held on Wednesday 29th October 2008 from 10.00am -13.00pm at SAVS, Alexandra Street, Southend on Sea.
