Resident Awards Ceremony- True Winners Shine Out!

This Year's Resident Awards Ceremony was held at the Cliffs Pavilion. It was an exciting evening of awards and tributes to recognise the work and achievements of those who had played a pivotal role in resident involvement. South Essex Homes Mike Gatrell and Chair of the Board Phil Lyons were there to present awards.
 
Not forgetting a speech from our local Mayor Councillor Ann Holland, and a quiz and buffet dinner that all enjoyed.
Stars of the Evening really did shine out and £550 was donated to the 'Help for Hero's' charity.

Winners of 2010 Awards were:

Most Pro-active Resident Co-coordinator:  Mr Keith Ducker, Mr Norman Burns

Most Pro-active Resident Void Inspector: Mrs Wendy Greenburg, Mr Dave Walsh

Most Pro-active Resident: Mr Mike Chapman, Mr Russell Webb, Mrs Carol Jones

Best Newcomer to Resident Involvement: Mr James Cowley, Mrs Beryl Chapman

Outstanding Contribution to the Community: Ms Amanda Harrold, Mr Gary Jones, Mr Philip Lilley, Mr Terry Whitman.

The Harry West Award - Best Contribution by Young People: Jacey Ann Harbour, Liam Pepper, Kelsey Wott, Jason O'Reilly, Ben O' Reily.

The Don Robinson Award - Best Community Organisers: Mrs Carol Thipthorp, Mr Glenn Ashdown, Mrs Bongani Dube, Mr Chinn Kylasapathy, Mr Bonnet Moyo, Ms Luanna Thomas, Mrs Bala Jethwa.

The Doug Parnis Award - Outstanding services to the Management Board: Mr Bill O'Callahan, Mr Phil Lyons.

Recognition was also given to Good Neighbour and Garden in Bloom.  Not forgetting winners of Outstanding contribution to Anti Social Behaviour.
