Housing Benefit staff will be holding a drop in event day at Southend Central Library in Victoria Avenue on 15th May 2012.
Benefit staff will be available to answer any questions about the introduction of a new single benefit called Universal Credit from April 2013 as well as some of the other changes to State Benefits and Tax Credits happening both this April 2012 and April 2013.
Please note the information available will not include the exact amount of entitlement you would receive or specific details on things like the claims process for example as these have not yet been set.
