South Essex Homes have achieved a “Good” two star rating with promising prospects for further improvement, following the recent inspection by the Audit Commission. This is an excellent result which reflects the dedication and commitment of everyone involved with South Essex Homes since our creation in October 2005.
The inspection result enables us to deliver £58 Million programme of improvements to resident’s homes and represents the culmination of all our efforts. It is, therefore a highly significant milestone for us. It is also just the beginning of a new phase in our organisations life and marks the starting point of a new journey.

Self - Assessment Document
Prior to the inspection South Essex Homes were required to produce and submit a self assessment document. This document informs the audit commission on the improvements we have made and how we are delivering services to our residents.
