Issues with Phone Lines & Server - 16.07.20

There are currently severe delays for people trying to contact South Essex Homes.

Please be aware that we are currently experiencing serious technical issues with our server which is affecting our staff members' ability to access their computers as well as our telephone system, meaning that all calls to our 0800 numbers are being diverted to the Careline office. 

Despite their best efforts, Careline - being a much smaller team than our Contact Centre - are unfortunately not able to adequately deal with the huge increase in calls they are receiving, nor are they able to take reports of repairs.

Therefore at the current time please do not call us unless it is regarding an urgent matter, as you will experience severe delays and we may not be in a position to assist you as we usually would.

If possible, please instead contact us by email to sehcustomerservices@seh.southend.gov.uk where our Contact Centre Officers will receive your message.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and please be assured that our colleagues at Southend Borough Council are working very hard to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
