Repairs service during lockdown period

South Essex Homes is continuing to provide a repairs service during the second lockdown period starting from Thursday 5 November 2020, however please be aware that there may potentially be some delays to our usual response times.

Please be reassured that staff visiting your property will wear the necessary Personal Protective Equipment and will observe social distancing rules and hand washing protocol.  Please therefore give them plenty of space and consider wearing a mask yourself while they are inside your property.

If you have tested positive for coronavirus, are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or are self-isolating at home having come into contact with someone with the disease, please be sure to let us know as far ahead of your appointment time as possible.  We will not visit your home under these circumstances but will reschedule the appointment as soon as we are able to do so.

If you are calling to report a non-urgent repair, please consider emailing us instead – emails are checked regularly during office hours and we log them in the same way we do with telephone reports so this will not cause any delays in the response you receive.  Please email us at sehcustomerservices@seh.southend.gov.uk and include the following information:

- Name
- Address
- Phone Number
- Email Address
- Location of repair
- Details of repair required
- Your availability for an appointment
- Is it routine or an emergency
- Are you a SEH tenant / Leaseholder / Relative or friend of tenant
