Can Do Leonard Cheshire Project
Making a difference for the better
South Essex Homes have teamed up with the Disability Organisation ‘Leonard Cheshire’ in an inspiring partnership, to help disabled people make a difference to both themselves and the local community.
This new campaign called ‘Can Do’ is a volunteering programme for disabled people that helps disabled people become volunteers and help others. In turn the participants can learn new skills, make new friends, add their new experiences and skills to their CV and work towards a City and Guilds certificate.
There is a wide range of things volunteers can do including baking cakes, gardening, producing art, computer work, work experience programmes and much more.
For more information about the Can Do Project please contact Elizabeth Francis on 07525 800 287 to find out about volunteering projects.
